Directors- Tour Hosts-The Barnetts

Rev. Andy and Michelle Barnett (at the Wall in
1997)
Andy served for over twelve years in Jewish ministries and is
highly qualified to bring you a fresh exciting look at your Jewish Roots as he presents
the Bible through Jewish eyes. Rev. Barnett has played a major role in the planting
of two Messianic Congregations. Each committed to reaching out to the "lost sheep
of the House of Israel". He currently serves as Co-Pastor and teacher at Shabbat
Shalom Fellowship in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Rev. Barnett has also participated in
teaching at the College Enrichment Program for a major church in the greater Charlotte
area.
Michelle, Andy's wife, is a Jewish believer, who has served
and is involved with Jewish missions. Michelle is actively engaged in Shabbat
Shalom's teaching ministry and works with children and ladies groups introducing them to
the Jewish Roots of Christianity. Whenever Michelle"s schedule permits, she
adds a vibrant dimension to the tour.

- Security and Safety
Since 1948 there have
been several times when Israel had to close its borders to tourists. Having dealt
with people engaged in hundreds of tours to Israel there has never been an incident of a
tourist being hurt or killed by terrorists. If you plan to go to the Holy Land you can
count on the following: Satan will begin, about 30 days before you are to depart, to try
and cause a major incident or to create a climate of fear to keep you from going to
Israel.
Why keep Christians out of Israel?
Paul gives us the answer in Romans
11:14 (JNT): in the hope that somehow I may provoke some of my own people to
jealousy and save some of them! What do you and Paul have in common, that could possibly
make a Jewish person jealous? The only thing I know is the one thing that Satan hates more
than anything else in the world. With Paul, we share the Holy Spirit, and He is the one
thing Satan does not want Jewish people to see in us. He has convinced them every
Christian is out to do them harm. They expect us to evangelize them and are turned off at
the first words out of our mouths. What they and Satan cannot tolerate is the love,
compassion, and understanding that Jesus can exhibit though us. It is the Jesus in us that
is to drive them to jealously. If we are not there in Israel how can an Israeli see
Jesus in you or me?
For that reason, and that reason alone, Satan will always
try and keep you and every other believing Christian out of Israel. The Jesus in you might
just provoke some and they will be saved. That is why evangelism in the Holy Land is
different from here in the US. Our behavior and testimony, with Jesus showing through in
our daily lives, are the greatest means we have for reaching out to a Jewish person. They
expect you to come on strong and mention His name time and time again. It is when you show
His love and compassion that they really begin to ask the all-important questions about
why you believe what you believe.
Every hotel, kibbutzim, guesthouse, bed and breakfast
establishment is equipped to handle your safety in time of an emergency. Every male and
female driver and guide has been trained to immediately take you to safe areas designated
throughout the country. Each one, both male and female, has undergone military training
and is equipped to handle any situation which may arise.
Dont let Satan keep you from the Holy Land. We
would never take you into an area we did not consider absolutely safe. We will tell you
why we are not visiting certain areas should we feel your safety could be jeopardized. We,
as much as God, want you to enjoy your visit to His Holy Land.
